Würth Elektronik eiSos will showcase a new series of high-speed optocouplers with data rates of up to 10 MBd, as well as a new generation of horticultural LEDs for targeted control of plant growth. A dedicated online tool, the “Horticalculator,” is available for the latter. Also being introduced are new nanocrystalline cable cores for broadband EMC filtering, as well as an expansion of the WE-MXGI inductor series, which offers significantly higher power density while maintaining the usual low RDC.

These new products exemplify the company’s broad portfolio. The product offering, characterized by a holistic, solution-oriented approach, is complemented by measurement-data-based calculation tools (REDEXPERT) and customized design-in support, as well as in-person and digital services throughout the entire development process.

Together with its partners, the company also presents reference designs that demonstrate its application expertise and highlight its focus on concrete, practical solutions for electronics developers and buyers.

Efficient High-Current Connections

In Hall A3, the exhibition area for connectors, Würth Elektronik ICS is showcasing PCB connections for high-current applications. The focus of the trade show presentation is on the lead-free LF PowerBasket power elements as well as the PowerBusbar PCB and PowerBusbar PF busbars. The LF PowerBasket enables pluggable high-current connections up to 150 A and offers a space-saving and easy-to-install solution, particularly for board-to-board connections.

In addition, the company is showcasing its PowerBusbar solutions for the efficient routing of high currents on printed circuit boards. Alongside the proven PowerBusbar PCB busbars, the company is introducing the PowerBusbar PF, a vertical busbar using press-fit technology that reinforces current paths—particularly in applications with limited installation space—and increases the current-carrying capacity of the entire system.

Custom PCB Solutions

Würth Elektronik CBT presents the full range of its PCB offerings—from classic rigid PCBs to HDI, flex, and rigid-flex technologies, all the way to high-end solutions such as embedding and the innovative s.mask technology. The focus is on how printed circuit boards can be adapted to meet the growing demands of modern electronics—such as higher integration densities, increasing performance requirements, and ongoing miniaturization. Real-world examples, such as a payment ring from Infineon, an open-source smartwatch, and a dermatoscope, demonstrate the diverse possibilities of custom PCB solutions.

At various service booths, CBT experts will also provide information on design and engineering, the WEdirekt online store, and international procurement solutions. With manufacturing capacities in Germany and Asia, Würth Elektronik CBT supports its customers from the initial design concept through prototyping and series production to international procurement, helping them implement suitable solutions and ensure a reliable supply of printed circuit boards.(kr)
