On the way to the final: Soccer stadia in glamorous light

"Arena Pernambuco": The new square stadium construction in the north-east of Brazil was opened in May 2013, and since then its pitch has been illuminated by 360 state-of-the-art metal halide lamps of type "HRI-TS 2000W/D/S High Flux". The light exceeds the latest international standards for pitch lighting and enables 100 % HD-compatible television images. The stadium capacity amounts 43,921 spectators.
