TTI IP&E – Europe will focus on the growing requirements for interconnect, passive, and electromechanical (IP&E) components at electronica 2026. The distributor will address applications in AI data centers, electrification, and robotics, where increasing power density, higher data rates, and limited installation space are influencing component selection.

In AI infrastructure and edge computing, higher processing performance requires faster data connections, more compact power distribution, and effective thermal management. At the same time, moving intelligence closer to machines and devices increases demand for sensors, reliable connectors, and compact power solutions.

Electrification presents different challenges. Electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, renewable energy systems, and energy storage require components that support high-voltage connections, switching, circuit protection, and power conversion. Component selection directly affects system efficiency, safety, and long-term reliability.

Robotics and autonomous machines combine many of these requirements. Sensors, local processing, communication interfaces, and power electronics must operate within compact designs, often under demanding mechanical conditions.

Technical Support and Component Selection

TTI works with manufacturers including Littelfuse, Panasonic, Amphenol, YAGEO, Vishay, Molex, TDK, and TE Connectivity. Its technical specialists support customers in selecting and integrating components for interconnect, sensing, passive, electromechanical, power, and protection applications.

Beyond component selection, the distributor offers supply chain services covering logistics, customization, assembly, and fulfillment. These include preassembled connectors, customer-specific component kits, and cables supplied in specified lengths.

According to Jörg Martin, Director of Value Added Services at TTI IP&E – Europe, the aim is to eliminate unnecessary processing steps at the customer's site and reduce inventory requirements. TTI will present its technical expertise and service portfolio at electronica 2026 in Munich, November 10–13, in Hall C3, Booth 578. (sb)
